Water: the key to natural beauty
Posted on May 20 2021
Thanks to technological advances, dermatology experts have been able to observe the effect of our diet on the texture and appearance of our skin.
Many recent dermatology studies confirm that the most important factor in skin care is not only the cosmetics we apply (which, of course, make a difference) but also a large part of our diet.
So... what diet should we implement to look our best?
Our bodies are 70% water, so it stands to reason that any lack of adequate water intake will affect our appearance.
That's why drinking water is without a doubt the simplest and most effective way to prevent the signs of aging, keep your skin smooth and your body healthy.
HOW DOES WATER AFFECT OUR SKIN?
Water removes toxins from our bodies that are stored daily by pollutants, tobacco smoke, stress and other sources of free radical formation. In fact, free radicals are the main cause of skin diseases and premature aging.
Water not only gives the skin a younger appearance, but also eliminates all these elements, which cause the appearance of acne. Acne is formed by the accumulation of bacteria, oil, dead skin and dirt on the skin. Even for those with oily skin and acne problems, water is needed to remove internal and external impurities.
In addition, water helps vitamins and nutrients to circulate easily throughout the body. In particular, it works with all of the body's organs to distribute vitamins E, C and B12, which help keep skin smooth and youthful.
HOW MUCH WATER DO I NEED TO DRINK EVERY DAY?
Normally, it is recommended that a person drink at least one and a half liters of water, although many dermatologists recommend increasing the dose to two or three liters a day.
WHEN IS IT ESSENTIAL TO DRINK WATER?
It is very important to drink and recover lost fluid after physical activity or sunbathing. Remember that water is not only good for your body but also for your appearance.
WATER INSIDE AND WATER OUTSIDE
When cleansing the skin on your face or body, it is best to use lukewarm water. Very hot water can dry out the skin excessively, but at the right temperature, its cleansing power is tremendous.
Drink water first thing in the morning; it will help clear up a swollen face.
Add a slice of your favorite citrus fruit to spice things up. Use a pretty bottle like this one: https: //bit.ly/3wgYzk8
